The Trip Binder uses Claude, made by Anthropic, in two places. Both are optional ways to save time, and both have a manual path.
1. Drafting a schedule from a file
On the website, open a trip's Schedule. On an empty schedule choose Import PDF / DOCX / CSV; otherwise choose Import Trip Binder file, which opens the same import page. Then tap Choose PDF, DOCX, TXT or CSV and pick a file up to 5 MB, such as a travel agent's itinerary.
- What the AI receives: the contents of the file you upload. Nothing else from your trip.
- What you get back: a list of events. You review and edit every one before it is added to the trip. Always check dates, times and places yourself.
- A Trip Binder file (.xlsx) comes straight in with no AI at all.
This is on the website only.
What a schedule draft costs
- Every account gets 2 free AI drafts, once. They are not monthly and not per trip.
- With Pro, each trip gets 50 AI drafts.
- A draft counts when the file is sent, even if nothing useful comes back.
If you run out, add events one at a time with Add event. Nothing else is affected. See Usage limits.
2. The support assistant
When you start a conversation in Help & support and choose Try the assistant first, an AI assistant answers. It is free.
- What it receives: your recent messages in that conversation and our published help articles.
- What is removed first: email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers, plus things written like a password or a medical note (for example "allergies: …").
- What it does not see: your trips, rosters, student records or billing.
- Names are not removed. Please do not paste a student's health details into a support message.
You can choose Talk to a person at the start, or tap Talk to a person on any conversation. The assistant then stops replying and our team takes over. The assistant is limited to a number of messages per hour.
What AI is never used for
The AI never reads your roster or student records, and we never send student information to it for any other purpose. See How we handle your data and our privacy policy.
