Cancel Pro or request a refund

Cancel Pro where you bought it: Apple, Google Play or the website. What happens when it ends, and how refunds work for each.

Updated Oct 14, 2026

Pro renews once a year until you turn it off. You cancel it in the same place you bought it.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

Open the Account tab, then Plan & billing, and tap Manage subscription. Or open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose The Trip Binder. Apple handles the cancellation.

Cancel on Android

Open the Account tab, then Plan & billing, and tap Manage subscription. Or open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Google handles the cancellation.

Manage subscription opens the store you actually bought from, so it works even if you bought on the other kind of phone.

Cancel on the website

Open Account, then Plan & billing, and choose Manage billing. This opens our payment provider's billing page, where you can cancel and see your invoices.

Turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

What happens when Pro ends

Pro stays on until the end of the year you paid for. A subscription bought on the website keeps Pro for 30 more days after that. Then your account is on the free plan:

  • Trips you already published stay published. Nothing you built is deleted.
  • Day trips keep working exactly as before.
  • You cannot publish a new overnight or multi-date trip, add or change hotels and rooms, or duplicate a trip.
  • Trip documents fall back to the free 90-day window after a trip's return date. You are warned before anything is removed.

See Plans and pricing for what the free plan includes.

Refunds

  • Bought on iPhone or iPad: Apple issues refunds. Request one through Apple's "Report a Problem" page.
  • Bought on Android: Google issues refunds through your Google Play account.
  • Bought on the website: email contact@thetripbinder.com, or start a conversation in Help & support and choose Talk to a person. Include the email on your account and your receipt.

Something went wrong with a charge

A double charge, or Pro bought on the wrong account? Contact us with the receipt and the email address on each account. See Contact support.

Trip Pass

The one-time Trip Pass was withdrawn from sale on 9 September 2026. It never renewed, so there is nothing to cancel. A pass bought before then still works, permanently, on the trip it was bought for.

Still stuck?

Email contact@thetripbinder.com or use the contact page. A person reads every one.
